Who We are:

  • A group of enthusiastic butterfliers from all walks of life, with various levels of experience and interest.
  • A local chapter of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA)
  • A non-profit organization supported by donations and membership dues (click to learn more)

What We Do:

  • Organize field trips in and around the Middle Tennesse area.
  • Host and attend various Butterfly Counts to gather important butterfly population information to help science.
  • Some of us garden to attract butterflies.
  • Some of us enjoy butterfly and nature photography.
  • We love to get together to share stories and compare notes, learning from one another and benefiting from many levels of interest and experience.
  • Help schools and teachers learn and participate in caterpillar rearing and butterfly awareness projects.
